This policy explains what Clearo collects when you visit tryclearo.com or buy the Mac app. The app itself is built to run on your Mac. We do not need your files to sell you a license.

1. What we collect

  • Order data. Name, email, billing details, plan, and payment status. Shopify processes the payment. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Delivery. We keep your email so we can send the download after checkout.
  • Support. Whatever you send to hello@tryclearo.com.
  • Site basics. Standard logs and cookies needed to run the store, checkout, and fraud checks.

2. What the app sends

Clearo organizes and cleans files on your Mac. Your files and their contents never leave your Mac. The app only talks to us for two things:

  • Activation. When you enter your license key, the app sends the key, a one-way hashed ID for your Mac, and your Mac's name, so we can enforce how many Macs your plan covers. You can deactivate a Mac in Settings to free its slot.
  • AI sorting (on by default, you can turn it off). Most files are sorted by rules on your Mac. For files the rules can't place, the app sends metadata only: the file name, type, size, created and modified dates, the name of the folder it sits in, and the website it was downloaded from. Never file contents and never full file paths. We pass this to OpenAI to suggest a folder and send the answer back. We do not store file names or metadata; we only count how many files each Mac sorts so we can apply fair-use limits. You can turn AI sorting off in onboarding or in Settings, and Clearo then sorts with rules only.

The app also checks for updates, which sends your app version and macOS version.

3. How we use data

  • Fulfill the order and email your download.
  • Process payment, refunds, and license limits (how many Macs you paid for).
  • Answer support mail.
  • Meet tax and bookkeeping rules.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who else sees it

Shopify and its payment partners process checkout. Email and hosting providers may process messages we send you. OpenAI processes the file metadata described above when AI sorting is on; under its API terms it does not use that data to train models and may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. They only get what they need to do that job.

5. How long we keep it

Order records stay as long as we must keep them for accounting and to honor your license. We keep your email so we can send the download after checkout, support the license, and honor the refund window. You can ask us to delete what the law lets us delete.

6. Your choices

Email hello@tryclearo.com to access, correct, or delete your data, or to ask us not to use your email except to send the download and support the license you already paid for. You can also use rights that apply where you live (for example access or erasure).

7. Children

Clearo is not directed at children under 16. Do not buy if you are under 16.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page. If the change affects how we use data from an order you already placed, we will email you.

This policy explains how LearnClaudePro (“we”) handles personal information when you use claudefluence.com or buy ClaudeFluence.

What we collect

  • Name and email you give us
  • Quiz answers, if you take the quiz
  • Order details needed to complete checkout
  • Basic device, browser, and page data (including cookies)

We do not collect your full card number. Shopify and the payment provider process payments.

How we use it

  • To deliver access and support
  • To complete and record your order
  • To email you about your purchase and the product
  • To improve the site and stop abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Shopify, payment providers, and tools we use to send email or run the site. Some of these are outside Australia (including the United States and Canada). We only share what they need to do that job.

How long we keep it

We keep order and access records for as long as we need them for the product, tax, and legal reasons. Quiz answers may be kept to personalise access.

Your choices

Email us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop product emails. We will do this unless we have to keep a record (for example, a paid order).
